Grooming sessions that are both comfortable and friendly.
At around 14 weeks old, puppies are ready for their first bath and cleaning. You should start thinking about bringing your puppy in for grooming once you've taken them to the vet for their initial puppy vaccines. The sooner your puppy gets to know the groomer and grooming area, the more at ease they will be!
Grooming times vary depending on the breed and service offered. Grooming some dogs can take 1.5-2 hours, while grooming others can take 3-4 hours. The length of time it takes to groom a dog depends on its size, breed, age, and coat condition. We'll call you when your dog is almost done being pampered to schedule a pick-up time.
We recommend brushing your dog as much as possible at home, as well as a visit to our grooming salon every two weeks, if you want your dog to have a long, glossy coat. Your dog can come to us once every four weeks if you want to keep it tidy and the same length overall. Baths and nail clippings are recommended as needed at our salon.
We recommend booking an appointment several days in advance to ensure that our groomer has enough time available for your session. Walk-ins without an appointment may experience longer waiting times for a groom. We do our best to accommodate everyone!
Our groomer is a “dog whisperer” and is skilled at handling nervous and anxious dogs. It takes some time and patience, but we work with nervous pups regularly. We do our best to make any anxious dog feel more comfortable by providing a caring and calm environment. If your dog is happy, we are happy!
